STOLL, the flat knitting brand of the KARL MAYER GROUP
With the so-called closing, the merger of the two world market leaders, KARL MAYER and STOLL, was officially completed on 1st July 2020.
STOLL will continue its activities within the KARL MAYER GROUP as autonomous business unit. The brand will be carried on independently, and represents KARL MAYER‘s expertise in the field of flat knitting technology.
STOLL has been a reliable manufacturer of high-performance flat knitting machines since 1873. Offering intelligent software solutions for sampling and production planning, such as knitelligence®, today's models open up the possibilities of digitalization for customers. In addition, STOLL has made a name for itself as a constant and innovative source of inspiration for the textile and apparel industry in fashion and technical textiles.

The brand STOLL as a part of the KARL MAYER GROUP is a leader in flat-knitting machine technology. We offer innovative tools and services for the knitting of tomorrow. Founded over 150 years ago, we have now a strong reputation for providing highly sophisticated knitting solutions and as an independent thinker and developer in the section of Fashion & Technology and Techical Textiles.
On a total of 32.450 sqm we develop, engineer and produce most of our machines at our headquarters in Reutlingen, Germany.
The new customer center is intended to be an inspiring meeting place for partners in the textile value chain. Through exchange and joint projects, we want to drive relevant innovations related to flat knitting.

STOLL machines can e.g. economically be used for Fully Fashion ot knit and wear. With our machine portfolio, we set completely new standards and open up unsurpassed knitting dimensions.
